The Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), opened a new battery prototype line before Christmas as part of the Norwegian Advanced Battery Laboratory Infrastructure (NABLA), which is intended to be the most flexible battery R&D cell line in Norway. The new battery laboratories at IFE can handle material quantities from 10g to 10kg, and are designed to support both battery cell manufacturers and material producers in validating their processes and materials.
