Webinar (part 2): From random data sharing to a common European data market

The industry clusters Cluster for Applied AI and NCE Smart Energy Markets invite you to a webinar series about the data market initiative.

Data is more and more considered a central resource for society and modern economies on an equal footing with human labor and natural resources. Collecting, refining, managing and sharing data has become an important industry. National and supranational authorities in Europe are gradually recognizing the opportunities that a digital society can offer.

In this connection, My Digital City (formerly Halden Living Lab) will be the new major research effort on digital transformation of society. Here, the establishment of a data market and being able to share data from the "smart city" are central.

The data market will be available for, among other things, teaching in the various parts of the education system, for R&D projects, for innovation and product development for start-ups/scale-ups and business, as well as for innovative service design and citizen involvement in the public sector.

In the first webinar on 11 February, we looked at the big picture with the theme "From random data sharing to a common European data market - value creation at local and national level in Norway".

In the second webinar, we focus more on the various operational aspects of a data market. We will discuss the data governance model, sustainable data operations, the structure, etc. as part of a functional data market for citizens.

Once you have registered, you will receive information on how to join the webinar.
